This database is an index to over 3.5 million divorces that were filed in California from 1966-1984. Information that may be found in this database includes:

• Date divorce was filed
  
• County divorce was filed in
  

Each entry is also linked to an index image. On this image additional information about the divorce, such as the case number and state file number, may also be listed.

Divorce records are available in the office of the clerk of the superior court in the county in which the proceedings were conducted.
